Periclase is magnesia brick’s main crystal phase.Magnesia brick uses high purity magnesia sand as its raw material.
And its thermal shock resistance is not so good, same with water resistance. Magnesia brick cannot directly touches silica brick under high temperature since magnesia brick’s acid slag resistance not so well.
