Magnesia alumina carbon brick

Magnesia alumina carbon brick is a basic refractory brick. It is made by adding raw materials rich in Al2O3 to magnesia carbon brick. It has two types. When the magnesia content is higher, it is called magnesia-alumina-carbon brick; when the alumina content is higher, it is called alumina-magnesia-carbon brick. These two types bricks have different properties and are usually used in steel smelting furnaces.

Introduction

1. Magnesia alumina carbon brick (MgO-Al-C brick) is made of high purity magnesia, corundum, spinel and graphite. It has the advantage of resistance to slag erosion and is mainly used in slag line of ladle.
       2. Alumina-magnesia-carbon brick is mainly made of bauxite, corundum, spinel, high purity magnesia and graphite. It is mainly used in steel ladle wall and bottom, and has the characteristics of anti-erosion, anti-erosion and anti-spalling.
